What an interesting industry! SO MUCH TO KNOW. The pedigrees, the trainers, the jockeys, the tracks, the drugs, the equipment and throw in a bit of luck. The theories vary wildly from sheer numerology to very scientific; most that I have encountered are non-scientific. Becoming an Owner has completely changed my perspective. Experiencing the industry from the backside has been a real eye-opening experience. You simply can not fathom the complexities of thoroughbred horse racing as an enthusiast experiencing the game from the satellite wagering facility.
